I’m Swathi Palanisamy, a product designer who started out as a software engineer — which means I still think in systems, but I design for people.
For me, design isn’t just about solving problems.
It’s about finding that invisible thread between how something works and how it feels to use.
And when I’m not designing…
…I’m usually outdoors with a camera, chasing smaller bugs — the literal ones.
I started in software engineering fixing system bugs, and somehow ended up photographing real ones.
Turns out, both require patience, observation, and timing — you zoom in, you notice what others miss, and you learn to appreciate the details that hold the bigger picture together.
